Observation 48467: Dacryopinax spathularia (Schwein.) G.W. Martin

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Jelly fungus, stemmed, orange and tiny, maybe 5 mm high and 3 mm wide at the ‘cap’. Badly dried out by time we got home. Anyone hazard a guess for this from the shape?

I guess I was being too literal about “spathulata’s” shape, and presume that it is indeed Dacroyopinax spathulata. I had seen it before at Walking Iron with the same shape
