medium to large-sized mushroom, a few scattered in leaf litter in mixed woods
ST: 80×10-15mm, thickest at top, tapering to root, white, tough, not breaking, fibrous, stuffed, unchanging
CAP: ~60mm wide, convex, smooth to v min tomentose, dry, pale pink with some yellow or brownish overtones, clean, margin curls under a bit, cuticle peels a bit
FLESH: firm, tough (hard to tear), white, ~10mm thick, unchanging, mild odor, rather bitter taste
VEIL: none
GILLS: pale peachy, close, clean, unbranched, ~5mm deep
SPORE: print pale peach
