I have replaced the images with the full sized versions but the quality still isn’t that great (still better than the first ones though)
I think I got my pics/obs a little mixed up… these are quite obviously not a Pleurotus. I did not print them but the in situ spore deposits suggested a dark brown. I was originally thinking Melanotus, but Crepidotus seems likely.
Sorry for the picture quality. I resized the images to be kind on my download limit, but didn’t realise just how much I reduced the quality. I will put up the higher res images in the morning.
Did check to make sure these had white spores? I was wondering why you went for Pleurotus on these. Also do you have any photo with higher resolution? These are a kinda frustrating level of low resolution here, it would be good to be able to see more detail. (My standard complaint it seems. But I still wonder, are there a lot of 1 megapixel or less cameras still in use out there?)
