Observation 49046: Boletus subglabripes Peck

When: 2010-07-22

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
Another specimen of that brown-capped, yellow-pored, yellow-stiped bolete. Again the stipe shows reddening at the base (third photo) and the pores are moderate-sized, moderately regular, and do not descend the stipe. These things seem to be favorites of the local slug population.

This one was in Zone 45.
