Himalayan Silver fir, Cedrus deodara and spruce present on this ridge… I could tell you exactly which tree out of these it was under by tomorrow..
So what kind of conifer do you think it was growing with? I see Pine needles in the photo, and judging by the looks of the mushroom I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the symbiont tree. Do you know which Pinus species it is?
pores and the developing yellow color suggest to me an “eduloid” entity. Nice looking bolete, by the way and nicely imaged too!
