I have saved these two specimen for you. I’m sure there are mature spores. The largest trouble is to get the mushrooms dry before maggots and/or mold destroy them – I hope to succeed.. We have a period of high humidity and warm weather right now.
According to Geml and his colleagues in Alaska, regalis may be restricted to montane habitat in Alaska.
May I use the images? I hope you the dried specimen matured enough to make spores before it met its end. If that is the case, may I trouble you for a portion of the exsiccatum?
