Observation 50059: Amanita sect. Lepidella sensu Bas

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Amanita (Lepidella) whitish but yellow flush, the yellow color looked more distinct at home, cap looks “powdery” ~6.3 cm, convex, stem ~8 cm above ground, quite dark orangey yellow but pallid at top, + a thicker 8 cm long root that I think I got most of but cut cut in two first. Spores amyloid, variable in size, some 11-12½ x 4½ microns. Veil remnants yellowish.
