This clump of brown mushrooms, some very large (over 10cm), was at the base of a stump of unidentified wood in D7D. Deeply decurrent yellow-brown gills and a mottled, brownish, centrally-depressed cap with downturned rim. Short, stout stipe that was hard to photograph without uprooting the specimens.

General gestalt fits Paxillus, Tapinella, and friends.
