Observation 50330: Psathyrella (Fr.) Quél.

When: 2010-08-14

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

45.790135° -77.13295°

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Bushels of little whitish mushrooms around the base of a tree. The caps are actually off-white to tan with darker brownish centers and conical; the gills are a pale grey-brown and the stipes are purer white.

Found in D9A. D9 was rich pickings again today; it seems to be becoming my replacement Miracle Mile, unfortunately about two kilometers further from the trail-head at the cul-de-sac end of Elgin Street.
