Observation 50335: Cortinarius (Pers.) Gray
When: 2010-08-14
(45.789088° -77.132478° )
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These LBMs were growing from a steep hillside in D9C, less sandy than (and more than 1.5km away from) the one with the boletes in Zone 51.

The final two photos were actually outtakes until I got them home, was sorting through them, and found that they are the two that most clearly show that some of these mushrooms sport rings. Please forgive the less-than-perfectly-sharp focus of the subjects in these two photos.

All parts brown.
