Observation 50376: Gyroporus cyanescens var. violaceotinctus Watling

Notes: I wanted to post this because i have always thought there be one ‘cyanescens’. This variation however varies dramatically on two different color changes. When sliced and bruised, it immediately goes to the deep violet color without making a pit-stop at green yellow. And ironically enough, when adding KOH ( and i think ammonia) to the flesh, it has and instant green flash that changes to bright yellow
