I don’t think this is Rhizopogon If you look at a close-up of the last photo of sliced specimens (98600) the central specimen appears to have a short columella (kind of a stipe, but inside the gleba): in this case, perhaps a few mm long. While the peridium (exterior) shows rhizomorphs, there should be no columella in a Rhizopogon.
So what is it?
