The genus name Postia is validly published and accepted. In the genus Oligoporus only such species are accepted whose spores are CB+ in Cotton Blue, that is Oligoporus sericeomollis, O. rennyi, O. romellii and O. davidae. All the rest are Postias, including P. ptychogaster. However, Spongiporus undosus (earlier P. undosa) and Rhodonia placenta (earlier P. placenta) needed new genus-names.

A more thorough publication is going to be published soon.
