Not sure about the tube length. There were red oaks nearby and many pines surrounding these specimens.

I find a similar brick colored bolete which has been identified by Ernst Both as a form of Boletus bicolor. Do you know the relationship of teh tube length to the cap flesh? In the bicolor cluster the tubes are very shallow.
