Observation 50608: Boletus queletii Schulzer
When: 2010-08-09
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Under mixed hardwood forests, mostly oak and beech.

No idea on these, I still don’t seem to be able to get down the array of Boletus species of Europe. The pores are orange, bruise red at first then blue. The stipe is yellow, lacks reticulations, and bruises quickly blue. The pileus context is off-white, pores yellow-olive, and bruises blue, lacking pink under the pores, and with red-violet layer under cap surface. Found under oaks.
