Notes: parchment fungus under rotten log in moist hardwood forest
CAP: almost completely resupinate but a few edges stick out ~5-10mm, pinkish brown, watery, shaggy hairy
FLESH: cap-colored, soft, tough enough that I could peel it off the log intact but it feels gelatinous
GILL: irreg shallow vein-like reticulate wrinkles, cap-colored
SPORE: print white
The key in Demystified doesn’t inspire confidence in the species ID, but it’s got to be close.
