Notes: Used the new key by Denise Gregory and to my surprise it is NOT C. nuda because the cap color is light violaceous

I found one confirming image online from the Italian version of Wikipedia. Lepista glaucocana appears to be the more widely used name. It will be interesting to watch for this distinction at the fair. I wonder if there are any features than the color of the ‘young basidiocarp’ to distinguish between the two species.
