Observation 51146: Lentinellus P. Karst.

When: 2010-08-12

Collection location: Fraser Experimental Forest, Grand Co., Colorado, USA [Click for map]

Who: Ron Pastorino (Ronpast)

No specimen available

Growing on old dead wood in a mixed conifer habitat. Caps were ~ 2.3 cm across, smooth and dry.
Spore print was white and spores were amyloid.
Spores measured ~ 5.0-5.3 X 3.5-4.0 microns and were smooth.
I’m guessing a Panellus because of the amyloid spores but haven’t been able to find a match in that genus.
