Observation 51244: Tricholoma (Fr.) Staude

When: 2010-08-11

Collection location: Fraser Experimental Forest, Grand Co., Colorado, USA [Click for map]

Who: Ron Pastorino (Ronpast)

No specimen available

Notes:
Non amyloid white spores measuring ~ 5.8-6.2 X 4.2-4.8 microns. It had a mildly farinaceous odor. The cap, however, seemed relatively dry for this species.
Edit;9/8/2014
Looking at my notes and the photos, these do seem to have some bluing on the stipe. The spores also are a good match for T. resplendens as well as some of the other features.
