This could be the red-capped “flavoconia”

i.e., sp-MD01…

or, if they were right about its being imported to Italy in one spot, Amanita erythrocephala Neville et al.

that the photo is at least a fair representation of the cap color. What color is it upon drying? I just noticed that it is red in the center but that could be a camera artifact, but I would say it is orange towards the margin and there is a thin thin strip of lighter orange around the entire margin. Weird. I’ll add another photo of a button I took the day before…
