Observation 51804: Boletaceae Chevall.
When: 2010-08-31
(45.812346° -77.102029° )
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found around Harvey Fraser park. I was quite surprised to discover that it had pores; superficially it looked more like an agaric.

look deformed to me. Orignally something in the Boletaceae, but now appears to have been parasitized, probably by Hypomyces. Just not colonized sufficiently to be identified.

The stipe looks more like Amanita-like.
