Observation 52127: Crucibulum laeve (Huds.) Kambly
When: 2010-09-05
(45.801999° -77.136319° )
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found in Zone 47, which has produced these every September for years. The tiny things seem to be just forming: only one had the eggs visible and there instead of gelatin they seemed to be covered by a blanket of fuzz. It seems as if maybe the “lid” actually sinks in and dissolves to become the gel.
