Very large, over 15cm across. One photo shows it with trees in the background — slender trees, but those are full-blown trees whose trunks are no wider than the mushroom. (There is also an uprooted and browned R. brevipes to the upper left in that same photo which is nearly as large as the younger, white specimen that’s front and center.)

Found in Zone 48 under maple, birch, aspen, Balsam fir, and pine.
