LWMs widely distributed in Zone 19. These grow in the pine needles away from the moss, are small (sometimes only a few mm wide, up to 1cm), and their fuzzy feet bind a truly stupendous amount of duff (one I pulled up brought with it a disk 5cm or more wide of attached pine needles).
