Observation 5262: Melanoleuca melaleuca (Pers.) Murrill
When: 2007-11-23
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing near trailside debris, and with whitish, medium sized, elliptical, amyloid spores, these seem to match the descriptions of Melanoleuca melaleuca in several sources. With my microscope the spores look only slightly irregular which I’m assuming could mean “minutely warted”.
