Recognized by sight: a secotioid Boletus edulis! tastes JUST like it…kinda looks like it too (with a little imagination…);)
white stipe, tannish-brown pilipelis.
Used references: Desjardin, Arora and Trappe.
Based on chemical features: taste edulis-like…sweet and nutty.
