Habitat: Very steep primary mixed forest, northeast oriented, with little ground vegetation, limestone bedrock, humid place in deep shade, partly protected from direct rain by tree canopies, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 6-8 deg C, elevations 800 m (2,600 feet), alpine phytogeographical region.
Substratum: soil and humus, needles and leaves, under a group of Picea abies.
Place: Bovec basin, above planina Poljanca place, near a trail from Poljanca to Mt. Kopa, 1,438 m (4,718feet), East Julian Alps, Posočje, Slovenia EC
Comments: Growing in scattered groups, pileus diameter from 4 to 8 cm, spore print beige.
