I was hoping that you could find the time to look at the material from OBS #52006. I’m eagerly awaiting some sort of resolution on that one. Thanks.

My provisional name for this species is A. rasitabula — the Blank Slate Ringless Amanita.

This was found in an area of dense mixed woods; wet, with a lot of mosses including sphagnum.

and I would love to do two things: 1. accept your offer of the specimen [please mark it 53151 and, if possible, name the locality within Oneida Co. at which the specimen was found…and indicate the date] and 2. ask your permission to use a selection of these photos on the new Amanitaceae site.

If you can get a good specimen of this, I’d include it in work on this taxon. I’ve done a little work on it that will end up on the new Amanitaceae site.
