Too wet to dry…

Thanks Rod for your comments.. really good to get these inputs.. but as for drying it is not easy since our area is very humid and in fact sometimes I have difficulty even to get spore samples as the specimens simply rot on the glass overnight.. in fact sometimes the weather has remained overcast for weeks…
This and the fact that I do not have access to any microscope… makes it quite frustrating for identification purposes.. oh well..!!

amyloid spores

Your testing of spores with iodine should produce the amyloid reaction with this species, which belongs in section Validae.

Again, I apologize for not remembering. Are you able to dry your specimens?
