Notes:
Sorry I only have 2 photos of this red mass of fungal matter. They were in the dirt, as you can see in grass, and under a small conifer. It was so decayed that I was unable to collect it, it just fell apart. So the photos aren’t that great but I wondered if anyone had any clue as to what kind of mushroom this might have been when once whole?
