Definitely a cort; looks like the pinkish/purplish-tinged species that has previously been common in Zone 01. This pair was found in Zone 48. The common denominator there is aspen (Populus tremuloides), though both Zones contain a variety of other trees (notably Acer sp. and Pinus spp.).
