Recognized by sight: Stipe nearly 10 inches long, slightly bulbous at base; easily separating from cap. Annulus still partially visible on stipe, off-white gills.

Recognized by sight: Stipe looks like it may at one time have been radicating, shiny white cap with white UV warts, fragile fruitbody

a possible fit. I was considering that myself, but couldn’t quickly find a reference to it. It does resemble other A. smithiana collected and shown at past OMS shows, though. I’ll try to find a description, and may destroy my Amanta ID. Thanks, Christian!
