Notes:
These giant Leccinums were in Zone 51, of all places. There were at least three of them (only two feature in the photos).

Zone 51 is a large open environment with sandy soils and significant terrain undulations. The surrounding forest environment is mixed woods with the usual suspects, possibly including aspen and jack pine.
