Notes: A huge swarm of these in Zone 04 under pine. Last year a comparably large flushing of these cropped up under a similar tree mixture (mainly red and white pine, with a maple, yellow birch, and Balsam fir understory) in Zone 24 about 100 meters from this spot; and the year before that I saw an even bigger eruption (there’s no other word for it) of these in southern Quebec within about 15km of this spot.
