i know of no Hymenochaete

with a white hymenophore.

This material has been shuffled around, but I think the species name now is damaecornus(sp?) Used to be Hymenochaete, Amauroderma, I dunno anymore what the best genus is for this group. Like the other lateral pileus, thin fleshed, small pored, branching stem, collection found in Madidi, this group is rumored to have medicinal uses.
