No herbarium specimen

Notes: Very dense clusters of small, dark brown, bell-shaped mushrooms found on a well rotted log. The stalk bases were fused and the gills were dark. There were prominent radial grooves in the cap. See the mica-like granules that give it its common name “Mica cap” (photo 5)
