No herbarium specimen

Notes: these shaggy parasols were growing in a row along a dirt bike path.
We saw them a week before as well. They started off as small chubby things that looked like eyeballs with dark black pupils. whey grew to a foot tall with striking patches and ring.

now includes large members of what was formerly Lepiota, and so there are both green- and white-spored members of the genus Chlorophyllum

these guys did not have green spores.
