Observation 55944: Entoloma Fr. ex P. Kumm.
When: 2010-10-19
Who: tripsis
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This species was pointed out to me by a tribal guide who said they are edible and eaten by the local tribespeople.

The spore print is a pink-peach colour. They are a fairly small species, caps no more than ~3cm in diameter, stipe to ~8cm by ~3mm – 4mm in diameter.

I’ve tried keying it out and have got to it probably being a Leptonia or Entoloma. Can anyone say which one?
