Collection location: Forest Park, Everett, Washington, USA [Click for map]
Who: Tim Sage (T. Sage)
I thought I had ID’d this mushroom by sight, and it was confirmed by the identifiers at the Snohomish County Mycological Society ID table.
This species was growing on the roof of Floral Hall in Forest Park, Everett, WA; the location of the SCMS Annual Wild Mushroom show.

We miss you!
Hildegard Hendricksen showed me this photo at the PSMS Show on Sunday…but I thought that they had been planted for a photo op! Even cooler that they were growing up there…at least for those of us who don’t need to replace the roof.
Someday the roof will collapse!
That’s a pretty good fruiting.
