Recognized by sight: I proposed the wrong name… I meant Phaeocollybia not Rhodocollybia…
but with the addition of the last picture it does look like a Galerina

I just found another photo of an older fruit body… but it’s a bit out of focus and grainy. I don’t know whether it suggests brown spores or just looks darker due to decay. Thanks to everyone for the help :)

It’s not a Phaeocollybia, those have more crowded gills.

The last photo DOES look like a Galerina, but the gills shown in the other photos has me hesitating. Then again, there are some tiny Galerina with widely spaced gills that look like this.

I still think it could maybe be a Clitopilus though; Compare with these images of C. nitellinus:

..But maybe it is a Galerina after all…

Err..

Right after I posted the last comment I thought of Clitopilus… rather, the species which used to be Rhodocybe. Maybe, could be.

I don’t know about Galerina… The gills are oddly coloured and spaced for that. Seems like these would be white spored.

Huh

Not sure here. That last photo of the young fruit body still has remnants of an annulus. Kind of reminds me of Callistosporium, but I’m not confident with that ID, and I can’t say that I am crazy about any of the names proposed either.
