I NEVER post two photos in the same observation if they were found in different locations or at different times (days). I always make two separate observations because they OBSERVED at different times, locations, host trees, ecological areas, etc.
let the community help you to decide. if they are found to be two separate species, they can occupy separate observations.

Today I found same thing, more specimens on one spot (like 100 km from first find, on higher amsl ), if that tells you more:
it might be a parasite on fungus or not,mybe second image is same thing as first, I have no idea.
Is this one fungus or does it have a parasite on it?
