Found in group of three, growing from soil, at the base of a large Tulip Poplar, in mixed, predominantly hardwood, forest.

Pileus:
2.5-3.8cm broad, conic to convex with umbo, creamy light brown with golden brown fibrils or hairs, umbo appears to be smooth, margin straight (not curving up or inward).

Lamellae:
Adnexed to appearing almost free, light brown, close to crowded

Stipe:
6-7cm long, .4-.5cm thick, white, smooth, equal, solid

Smell:
disagreeable, maybe that of a wet dog?

Spore Print Color:
Brown or Cinnamon-Brown

Abundant, some cylidrical and some clavate
