Photos (particularly image 115329 at full size) clearly show pine needles in groups of five, suggesting a white pine is nearby. Five-needled pines commonly planted ornamentally in western Washington include Pinus monticola, P. strobus, P. cembra, P. flexilis, and P. aristata.
