Notes: Growing from buried woody debris in a dry river bed. I have seem these at 1300 – 1900 meters elevation, and the range is probably larger.

This is the same location as observation 6695", observation 6694, observation 6693 and observation 6692.

Gill crush mount. I cut off the cheilocystidia and crushed the gill face, looking for pleurocystidia. These cells were inside the gill. I am not convinced that they are cystidia however.

Recognized by sight: Growing in sandy soil, out in the open. Stem smooth on the upper half and has floccose myceium on the bottom half.
