Based on microscopic features: Spores smooth oval 12-15µm x 20-25µm when moist. Dry spores showed a corrugated surface.

This morel and your other post of observation 49753 are an unnamed species that fruit in western cultivated landscapes and gardens. A paper is in the works to sort them out and should be published soon.

No bruising

No Darv, no sign of any bruising on this specimen, nor do I remember it on the earlier collection in August. Perhaps not M. rufobrunnea?
