Very interesting. I didn’t even slice the gills since I thought I knew exactly what it was. I may have to go back and see this latex!

Milk color

The dark red tones at the juncture of the gills and stipe in the first photo suggest L. rubrilacteus more than L. deliciosus to me.

The latter should have orange milk, the former should have dark wine-reddish milk.
