Recognized by sight: definitely a common landscaping agaricus, loves disturbed ground and flower beds. yellows quickly on damaged cap edge, and outter flesh after being cut in 1/2. not as strong/bright/quick a yellowing reaction as xanthodermus, and much smaller in size while also being slightly less offensive smelling.
