Shows the underside (a bit blurily). This piece was broken off before I got there.

I guess that deer tick bite was worth it! I have a chunk of it. Anything I should look under a scope?

If growing on a rock, it’s got to be a lichen, I guess, but I’ve never seen anything like it. Must be some weird Lepraria?
