Wonderful photos of pleurocystidia

This fits well in sect. Fibrillosae, with cincinnata, griseolilacina, amethystina etc. They all have very similar micro characters.

I. cincinnata has a more scaly cap and stem, griseolilacina is paler – and what else you have in California is hard to tell..
