Based on microscopic features: spores small, uniform, ovoid, similar to Hysterangium sp. in MT. note smoky-transparent gel connective tissue. found in Tumupasa, near a logging operation.

I think it is closer to Protubera marajcua than Hysterangium. Look at the spores if they are small and clear with an epispore or utricle than probably Protubera.
